The Balmoral Lecture series aims to stimulate public understanding and discourse on topics of importance to our community and beyond.

Aunty Julie Foster Smith, senior Kalkatunga woman and Aunty Janette Blainey with our Year 9 Songlines group will share Queenwood’s contemporary Songline Journey, while Kalkadoon artist Mary McMurtrie (Proberts) will share her experience creating the commissioned Queenwood Centenary artwork.

This is an opportunity to learn how the ancient can be honoured in contemporary times.
